NO SPAMMING. Maybe no one else encountered that problem you have. Be patient. Or no one saw your post yet.
NO BIGOTRY/RACISM/SEXISM/GENERALLY BEING AN ASSHOLE. The goal with this forum is to help people who doesn't know how to fix something (e.g computer keeps getting BSoD and you wanna figure out a way to NOT HAVE THAT HAPPEN ALL THE TIME).
NO "NVM FIXED IT" POSTS. EVER. If you found a solution to it, POST HOW YOU DID IT. Someone else might encounter that exact same problem in the future and needs to figure it out. All information is useful! If you post even one of those, you're banned. No questions asked. If you're in a hurry and then write how you did it later (within 36 hours), it's fine. However, otherwise, bye-bye thread (and probably account, too)!
BE POLITE! If you think the instructions someone left is unclear, ask them to clarify. Don't just say 'you're a moron' or something. No one will want to help you in that case. Instead, say "hey uh, think you can clarify what you meant at X part?" (X being the thing you don't understand).
ENGLISH ONLY! I don't mind if your native language isn't English (it's not mine either!) but that's NOT an excuse to start posting in six different languages. If you're unsure how to say something, use google translate (translate.google.com) which - while it's not THE best - at least helps people get a basic idea of what you need help with. Any non-English post is removed on sight (I don't care if it says 'hi how are you' - it's not in English, thus not allowed; simple as that).
No one here is going to be all-knowing about everything. If you find a person who's capable of helping you with that one thing you need help with, good for you! That doesn't mean that guy/girl will also be able to help you with something completely different.
We're NOT here to help you with your homework. If you run into a problem with your homework you don't understand, by all means, ask if someone knows how to solve it. However, do NOT ask for the SOLUTION. Just for the step-by-step guidance required.
No, you cannot be a mod/admin. Don't ask to become one. If I decide to make you one, it means that 1) you're nice, 2) you're helpful, 3) you're active on the forum. And no, that's NOT a guarantee you'll become a mod/admin, but it DOES increase the odds. Also, I don't care if you're the most popular person on the board; that does NOT mean you're becoming an admin anyway. Also, all mods must be 16+, all admins 18+. Be warned, if you abuse your mod/admin power, I WILL remove it from you. I'm not going to warn you in advance if I see it. It'll just happen out of the blue. Tough luck, right?
I don't care how tough you think you are in real life. This is a place to help people out, NOT to act like a child who didn't get that one thing you wished for.
No 1337 $p34k. It's annoying as hell. Saying something that's a short for something (e.g OMG) is fine, but not 741k1ng 11k3 7h15. It's irritating and will get you banned.
